Argentine Giffard pear arrives Sao Paulo wholesale market

While few buyers brought the Giffard pear due to its high perishability, the first Argentine Giffard pears arrived on 18 January in the Sao Paulo wholesale market. The wholesale price was USD 25.68 per 18kg box, CAT1, Calibers 40s, 50s, 60s.
In WK 4, the Williams pear will arrive on the market, and importers have to sell all Giffard before the upcoming week because the market prefers the Williams over Giffard variety.
