REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA — PT Pupuk Indonesia (Persero) through its two subsidiaries, PT Pupuk Kujang Cikampek (PKC) and PT Rekayasa Industri (Rekind), has officially constructed Indonesia's first ammonium nitrate-based NPK Nitrate factory. The groundbreaking ceremony held in the Kujang Cikampek industrial area, West Java, marks an important milestone in strengthening the independence of a more modern, efficient, and high-value-added national fertilizer supply to support national food self-sufficiency. President Director of Pupuk Indonesia Rahmad Pribadi conveyed that the construction of the NPK Nitrate factory is a strategic step in promoting the downstream processing of the national fertilizer industry, in line with the Asta Cita of President Prabowo Subianto's government.
