Atlantic Salmon Production and Export Volumes Increasing in Norway

For the first time since May 2022, the Norwegian volume exported of fresh salmon 3-6 increased from 2021. In W28 2022 the volume increased by 1,279 tons or 8% WoW and by 869 tonnes or 5% YoY. The production volume of fresh salmon has increased over the past 6 weeks, which led to a price drop for the fifth consecutive week, from 10.24€/kg on week 24 to 8.97 €/Kg on week 28 for Norwegian Atlantic Salmon.
