Iran imported 309 KMT of bananas worth $210 million during the first 9 months of the current fiscal year, March 20 - December 20.
The banana imports have exceeded the volumes of the last year which was around 230 KMT for the whole year.
The main import destinations for bananas were Turkey, the Philippines, and India.
