Scientists of Bangladesh Rice Research Institute (BRRI) have successfully manufactured a highly suitable and affordable combine harvester for rice, and BRRI already has run the operation of the prototype in 2021. The capacity to harvest rice is comparatively high, being suitable for use in small farmlands of the country. BBRI expects that if Bangladesh could produce the machine locally and use it, there would be a revolution in agricultural mechanization in Bangladesh.
