Hong Kong imposes partial embargo on poultry products from Denmark and Sweden

The Hong Kong Food Security Center announced the suspension of poultry meat and egg imports from Denmark and Sweden, due to the record of outbreaks of avian influenza in these countries. Last year, Hong Kong brought 1,550 tonnes of chicken meat from Sweden and 1,640 tonnes of chicken meat and 1.33 million eggs from Denmark.
