For three consecutive weeks, the price of blueberries in the principal markets of the United States (US) has remained high. During W42, in the McAllen market, prices are reaching as high as USD 35 to 40 per 12x6oz, while in New York, prices are also elevated, ranging from USD 30 to 35/12oz. The upcoming volume from Michoacan and Jalisco, Mexico, which will start harvesting in the second week of Nov-23, is expected to influence the market's behavior, keeping this pricing trend intact. Additionally, the inability of Peru and Argentina to meet the expected volume for the 2023/24 season further contributed to the price hikes in the US markets.
