W36: South African Blueberry Export Volumes and Destinations

South Africa entered the 4th week of the 2022/23 berry campaign in W36 with harvest and export volumes increasing every week and reaching higher levels compared to the 2021/22 campaign. Total shipments for W36 were 2,187.31MT, which is a 38.6% WoW increase compared to the 1,578MT of W35. Total shipments for W36 are also up 10% YoY compared to the 1,989MT in W36 of 2021/22. Of the total W36 shipments, 42.47% were destined for Europe, 14.06% went to the Far East and Asia, 15.64% to the Middle East, and 26.77% to the UK. 0.83% in W36 were dispatched to other markets.
