Considering the period from Jan-Sep 2020, according to the Bolivian Institute of Foreign Trade (IBCE), Bolivia's beef exports registered a total of USD 42M and a volume of almost 10K tons. These numbers can be mainly associated with last year’s opening of the Chinese market for Bolivian bovine exports.
Beef exports tripled from January until September 2020 compared to the same period last year, since the exported value went from USD 13M to USD 42M. In terms of volume, the increase was from 3K tons to almost 10K tons.
