With 92 thousand tons, Brazil registers all time record in instant coffee exports, up 7% in comparison to 2018 and 21% in comparison to 2017. Of the 106 countries that received the Brazilian product, the USA led the ranking, with 17% of the total, followed by Russia, Indonesia and Japan. The world's top 5 exporters of instant coffee account for 44% of the volume, led by Brazil (15%), followed by Germany (11.2%), India (6.8%), Vietnam (6.2%), and Spain (4.8%). Brazilian instant coffee has been in the lead for over 50 years thanks to more than 25 certifications covering process control, quality, food safety, sustainability, among others.
