From Jan to Jul 2020, the Brazilian exports of cassava starch grew by 59%, according to the Brazilian Secretariat of Foreign Trade (SECEX). On the other hand, a decline in domestic consumption affected the total production in the period, which dropped 11% compared to 2019, totaling 316.8 thousand tons.
