British Columbia's apple harvest is to begin in mid-September, with export availability in early to mid-October. Growers are less concerned about quality issues than their neighbors south of the border in Washington State but think sizing might be slightly smaller than the 2020 crop. Color is another concern as the July heatwave may cause lighter coloring, but it won't be known until the harvest has begun.
