Burkina Faso to develop its ginger sector

The Ministry of Agriculture, Hydro-agricultural Development and Mechanization in Burkina Faso approved a three-year (2021- 2023) Ginger development action plan last week. The objective of the plan is to increase production, modernize the sector and increase export.
The national annual production of ginger in Burkina Faso is currently around 5,000 tons.
