Canadian wheat exporters expecting a big export year

Canadian wheat producers, exporters, and industry are expecting a strong year for export sales based on several market factors. These include Russian taxes on wheat exports, lower exports out of Europe, and increased global consumption. Wheat prices have been strong for the 2020-21 crop, but the further upside could be limited as Canada produced a large crop, Australia is expected to have a large crop, and 2021-22 Canadian planted acres are expected to increase.
