Producers from the autonomous region of Castilla la Mancha, in conjunction with European researchers and the Regional Institute for Feeding and Forestal Research and Development, are working to promote the pistachio sector. The idea is to understand the biological aspects of plagues that affect pistachios in order to find new controls.
The project is due to be completed in 2023, however, there are already some promising results, and researchers are confident that producers will soon be able to benefit from these discoveries.
