In China, fresh garlic in good conditions will be moved into cold storage by the end of Aug-24. This stock will supply domestic and export markets until Jun-25, when the new season starts. The garlic can be stored for a year, so suppliers are not in a rush to sell it. However, due to rising cold storage costs, garlic prices are increasing.
