Climbing Perch season in Perlis

Rice harvest season which is between the end of August to October in Perlis is also the season to catch the climbing perch fish. If it is not the rice harvest season, it is quite difficult to catch climbing perch because at that time the water from the paddy fields is released into the waterline. Although the supply increases due to the above reason, the price of this fish will not change since demand is also high in the northern region of Peninsula Malaysia.
