2022 has been challenging for the Colombian agricultural sector. During Q3 2022, the Colombian GDP grew 7%, but the profitability of the agricultural sector fell by 1.7% due to the continuous decrease in the growth rate of coffee and the severe rainfalls in the country. For 2023, the sector is expected to recover and grow by 2.2%, boosted by Tahiti limes and avocado exports and the recovery of coffee production.
