Fresh blackberry prices in Southwest Colombia decreased in W51 following an increase in supply, with volumes reaching a high point. The price fell by 23% week-on-week (WoW), bringing the wholesale price to USD 0.92 per kilogram (kg). Additionally, consumer preferences ahead of the Christmas week may have contributed to the price drop, as products like fresh grapes experienced higher demand, further reducing the market for fresh blackberries. This shift in consumer behavior and increased supply led to a notable decline in blackberry prices.
