Increasing container freight cost in India

Refrigerated and non-refrigerated container costs have risen by almost 100-150% mainly due to 2 reasons:
1. January onwards, fresh fruits export of grapes and to large extent onions begin shipping from India. After grapes season, mango season begins for exports and the demand for containers continues.
2. Due to COVID-19 disturbances, containers from China are getting fewer transits and are being re-routed due to low requested container transport with China as the starting point.
