Due to bad weather conditions in March-April, the season for the production of greenhouse cucumbers in Russia has shifted. That fact supported the rise in prices for this product which reached the level of 1.73 USD/kg by last week. By the middle of last week of April 2021, wholesale prices for greenhouse cucumbers in Russia continued to grow and exceeded the level of USD 2.50/kg. Moreover, prices may continue to rise further as weather conditions in the main production regions remain unfavorable.
