Entering the harvest season of dragon fruit in some of the major producing-region in Indonesia, the price of dragon fruit on the retailer level has experienced a correction in the past week. Unlike the entirety of October 2020 and the first 3 weeks of November where the price of this commodity was floating at IDR 13.000-15.000/Kg, this fruit is now sold at IDR 10.000/Kg.

One major factor for this price decrease is the fact that this fruit is now abundant in supply and can be easily found in the fruit markets across Indonesia. As the peak of the harvest season is expected to last until at least the second week of December 2020, the price is also expected to stabilize at its current level.
