Tuna fishermen in General Santos City are opting not to focus on fresh tuna for now due to the fact that there are a lot of typhoons in the country. The tuna prices are high because of that, at the same time due to covid-19 pandemic restrictions on shipment as well. They are eyeing to export frozen ones within the year which is much sustainable.
