Fresh Tomato Prices Declined by 50% MoM in Oct-24 Due to Oversupply

In Oct-24, fresh tomato prices dropped by 50% month-on-month (MoM) to USD 412.37 per ton (EGP 20,000/ton), down from USD 824.75/ton (EGP 40,000/ton) in Sep-24. This sharp decline is due to an oversupply of tomatoes in the market.
