Heatwave and Fertiliser Shortages in Egypt Reduced Peanut Yields by 20% for the 2022 Season

As the harvest season for Egypt's peanuts is coming to an end in October, farmers are starting to calculate the yields. The 2022 crop has 15-20% lower yields compared to last season due to the summer heat wave that affected crop production and the lack of high-quality fertilisers due to the limited supply of imported fertilisers in the market.
