Ethiopia Exported Spice Worth USD 7M From July 2022 to February 2023

The Ethiopian Coffee and Tea Authority stated that 3,374MT of spice products were sold in the last seven months, worth USD 7M from July 2022 to Feb 2023. Spice products such as rosemary, thyme, common wormwood, and others were exported to India, Sudan, Indonesia, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and the US for the first time. In the fiscal year, 2022, Ethiopia earned USD 10.5M by exporting 6,401MT of spices.
