The Ethiopian Ministry of Trade and Regional Cooperation conducted a survey on the warehouses and processing facilities of exporters of grains and oilseeds in some parts of Amhara, Oromia, and Southern regions as well as in new areas. As a result, 94,402 MT of product stock were found during the survey. The ministry immediately held a discussion and urged all exporters to export the grains and oilseeds they have in stock before the 2022/23 harvest commenced to avoid an oversupply situation.
