The 2022/23 raw cashew nut season in Tanzania is expected to be extended by around three weeks until W48. The extension is due to the cold weather that delays nut maturity as well as the unsuccessful first two auctions due to low prices. The season was originally scheduled to close on January 13, 2023, but due to the extension, it would instead be closed on January 27, 2023.
