The secretary of agriculture is financing the seeds and cultivation for common beans for the states that have been hit hard by the drought. The support covers 21 k producers from the states Zacatecas, Chihuahua, Durango, San Luis Potosi, and Guanajuato.
The government has also rolled out a program recently guaranteeing the prices and volume for bean producers at the national level, of up to 50 MT per season.
