Fluctuation in exchange rate causing Pakistani sesame export prices to rise

An appreciation of Pakistani rupee against the US Dollar has caused the sesame export prices to rise over past one week. Wholesale prices of natural sesame seed have increased up to 5% due to changes in the exchange rate. This fluctuation in exchange rate is causing problems for the suppliers since they are not being able to quote firm prices to the buyers
