Fresh garlic prices fell 30% month-on-month (MoM) in Mar-25, dropping to USD 495 per ton (EGP 25,000/ton) from USD 790/ton (EGP 40,000/ton) in Jan-25. The decline resulted from a surge in production and lower consumer demand, pushing prices downward as supply outpaced market needs.
