Increased Prices of Thai Fresh Longan During W11 Due to Ramadan

The Ramadan celebration will occur from March 20 to April 20, 2023. It is another factor driving the competition among exporters for fresh longans from Thailand to Indonesia and certain Muslim-majority regions of China. This also had a direct effect on the off-season longan price for W11, which climbed by more than 3.65% from W10 levels.
