Shortage of Marsh Frog in West Indonesia During W8

Indonesian Marsh frogs (Fejervarya cancrivora) were processed into the finished product of frozen cleaned frog legs and shipped to European markets of the Netherlands for human consumption. In W8, suppliers from Sumatera reported low availability of marsh frogs due to a massively shrinking population after their habitats were utilized for highway and industrial constructions.
