Ghana Cocoa Board (COCOBOD) formed a partnership with a local district assembly in the Western Region to distribute over 120,000 coffee seedlings to support the production of coffee among growers. Robusta coffee species thrive in Ghana and is cultivated mainly in 6 out of the 10 regions, namely Ashanti, Brong, Ahafo, Eastern, Central, Western, and Volta Regions. The coffee season in Ghana runs from September to January.
