Ghana's fresh mango producers decided to keep export prices relatively low in order to stay competitive in the international market. For example, the FOB price of fresh mango for Kent and Keitt varieties, which used to sell around USD 1.30/kg in early 2022, is now sold for 6.7% less at USD 1.20/kg in W47, despite rising input costs.
