Gradual Price Increase of Thai Young Coconut During W6 in the Guangzhou Market

After the Spring Festival holiday, the Thai young coconut prices gradually increased in the Guangzhou market. The transaction price of small brands was USD 8.50-8.79/box (RMB 58-60/box), and that of large brands was generally around USD 9.53/box (RMB 65/box), which increased about 10% from the price before the festival. Large brands sold fast, and the consumption power still needed time to recover after the festival. With the gradual arrival of the production season at the end of February 2023 and the beginning of March 2023, the purchase price of young Thai coconuts will decline, and the market will gradually decline.
