Canadian Green Lentil Prices Remain Stable in W11 in Turkiye Despite Drop in Demand

Due to a slight decrease in demand for green lentils in March prices decreased in Turkiye. However, very few carryover stocks of green lentils are expected in Canada, thus lentil prices are expected to remain stable. In W11, Canadian green lentils are offered at USD 1080–1090/MT to the main ports of Turkiye, while Russian green lentils are offered at USD 960-970/MT. Globally, Russia can compete with Canada in the green lentil market, and it continues to be an alternative source for many companies.
