Growth of Lychee Trees in Hainan, China, During 2023

Low winter temperatures in Haikou during 2023, along with adequate sunshine and precipitation, are ideal for the growth of lychee trees. More than 90% of the lychee trees in Haikou's Yongxing and Qiongshan are in bloom. Haikou volcanic lychee has the largest planting area in the Hainan lychee production area. The planting area is about 7.33K hectares. The total output of lychees in 2022 is about 75KT.
