Guatemala is the main supplier of fruit juices to the Central America region

During 2021, Guatemala export value of fruit juices was USD 43.1 million, an increase of 13.7% compared to USD 37.8 million in 2020. Guatemala was Central America's main supplier who accounted for 53% of fruit juices export value. Main products exported were apple juice, pineapple juice and other fruits juices. El Salvador was the main importer of the region of Guatemalan fruit juice with USD 6.8M. Trade of value added products to Central America countries and other regions is important to diversify the export offer of products from Guatemala.
