Honey production costs and prices are rising

During the last quarter of 2021, the price of diesel, which is the most basic fuel, increased by 45%, and maintenance and feeding costs also increased by 60%. While the production cost of 1 tin of honey was USD 44.64-48.36 in July, the production cost of the same honey is now USD 63.24- 66.96 due to the increasing costs. Beekeepers still sold their products at very reasonable prices despite increasing expenses at the end of 2021. However, honey producers stated that they would increase the prices to avoid losing their profit rate this year.
