Import tariff for Mexican fruits & vegetables by US government

The US government is preparing to implement new import tariffs for Mexican produced fruits and vegetables that are also produced in the USA.
The Southern state governments in the US are accusing the Mexican government of subsidizing fruits and vegetables, giving Mexican suppliers an advantage over US suppliers.
