The production of raspberries in Spain, led by Huelva province in the Western part of Southern Andalucía, accounts for more than 95% of the national production. Over the last five years, its production has increased, reaching 2000 hectares. Not only are these berries gaining more popularity among national and international customers, but they are also in general more profitable for the producers than other berries.
