Increase price of corn feed drives the price increase of the chicken meat in Indonesia

The price of chicken meat in Indonesia continues on the uptrend. At the end of June, the retail price exceeded the recommended retail price set by the government. This increase was due to the increase in the price of corn feed. The cost of the feeds reached 80-85% of the total production cost of the farmers. Prices are predicted to continue to rise in July.
