Increased demand of Moroccan carrot resulted in higher prices

Due to the increasing demand in the local market by the wholesalers, the price of carrots increased from 0.19 to 0.28 USD/kg from the farms. In 2020, Morocco exported USD 4.25 million to its markets in sub-Saharan and West Africa with Mauritania, which imported 90% of the total export volume.
