Vietnam’s customs data shows a 6.8% year-over-year (YoY) decrease in the average price of Indian meat, with the price at USD 2,982 per metric ton (mt) in W50. It has increased demand for Indian meat, particularly buffalo meat, in the Vietnamese market. India has also become the leading meat supplier to Vietnam in the first ten months of 2023, providing 127 thousand tons and securing a 22.2% market share.
