The award ceremony took place within the framework of the XVII Olearum Congress, held from April 9th to 12th in the Sierras de Salamanca, a key event for the defense of the olive heritage and the dissemination of the cultural, historical, and social value of olive oil. It should be remembered that this recognition was created by the Serés Santamaría Family, from Alpicat (Lérida), members of the Olearum, Culture and Olive Oil Heritage Association, which pointed out that the economic endowment of the prize must be used for the acquisition of dissemination material for the promotion of olive oil culture.
