Iran doubles agricultural exports to Eurasian economic union countries

Iran has exported over $330 million worth of agricultural products to the Eurasian Economic Union countries from March 20 to November 20 registering an increase of 53% compared to the same period last year.

The main exported products during the mentioned period were pistachio, peach, apple, grapes, sour cherries, kiwifruit, pepper, dates, and raisin with the main export destinations being Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Russia.

Iran's total agricultural exports in the mentioned period were 5.45 million tons generating a value of $3.84 billion. Around 9% of the total exports in the said period were realized to the Eurasian economic union members.
