According to the Rice Federation, Myanmar exported 802,623 MT of rice, including 277,284 MT of broken rice, in the fourth quarter of 2021. From this total of 802,623 MT, 750,000 MT were shipped by sea.
Myanmar delivers rice to 9 countries, including, in the first place, China with 170,000 MT, followed by Ivory Coast with 88,000 MT, and the Philippines with 66,000 MT. It sells broken rice to 7 countries, including 120,000 MT to China, followed by the Netherlands with 95,000 MT and Belgium with 41,000 MT.
