Lettuce supply scarce in Nigeria

As lettuce is currently scarce in the Nigerian market, traders and importers are sourcing and willingly getting the products from any part of the world. Amidst scarcity of lettuce in Nigeria, the current retail price is at USD 9.73 per kg and is expected to increase by December (Week 49 - 51) due to sufficient supply and high demand from Nigerian households during festive season.
