Along with the port of Long Beach, the port of Los Angeles has recently announced to operate 24/7 to relieve the severe port congestion. Among the West Coast ports, Seattle is experiencing the worst congestion exacerbated by a lack of truck drivers. Shipments out of the West Coast ports to East Asia and South East Asia countries are expected to take 1-2 weeks with the current port status. Shipments to the Middle East and India, however, are facing high unpredictability for both transit times and freight rates.
